Koei Tecmo has opened preorders on all four platforms. The links below are the official storefronts — we only list stores we have verified.

Which edition should you buy?
The editions guide breaks down every DLC item in detail. In short:
- Standard ($69.99) — the base game. Buy this if you don't care about cosmetics or early access.
- Digital Deluxe ($89.99) — adds the art book, 3 outfits, 7 creator items, equipment pack, starter pack and 72-hour early access (except Switch 2).
- SteelBook Launch Edition — limited physical edition with ICONART print; sells out fast.
Getting the best deal
- Compare regional pricing — some storefronts price lower in specific regions. Verify before committing.
- Preorder bonus deadline — the Wings of Freedom Hoodie early-purchase bonus requires purchase by December 23, 2026.
- Deluxe Upgrade Pack — if you buy Standard first, a Deluxe Upgrade Pack is planned (does not include early access).
- Physical retailers — boxed copies at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and other retailers; watch for regional launch deals.
Save-data bonus check
If you played Attack on Titan 2 or Final Battle on the same console, your save data earns an in-game bonus in A.O.T. 3. Make sure your A.O.T. 2 save is on the same system you plan to play A.O.T. 3 on.
Buying notes for each platform
PlayStation 5. The PS Store listing is the direct digital route, and physical copies are widely stocked. PS5 is also the platform where the save-data bonus is easiest to carry over, since many series players finished Final Battle on PS4 and their saves sit on the same account family. Watch the product page for whether a PS5 Pro enhancement label appears before launch.
Xbox Series X|S. The Microsoft Store listing covers both Series X and Series S with one purchase. The open question for Xbox buyers is whether the game joins Game Pass; nothing has been announced, so buy on the assumption that it is a full-price purchase. Smart Delivery labeling, if confirmed, will be recorded on the Xbox platform page.
PC (Steam). Steam is the only official PC storefront and the version is digital-only. Two PC-specific checks before buying: the system requirements estimate against your hardware, and Steam Deck compatibility if you plan to play handheld. Steam's refund policy (under two hours played, within 14 days of purchase after launch) is the most forgiving exit if the port disappoints.
Nintendo Switch 2. The eShop version works like any digital purchase, but boxed copies use a Game-Key Card — the cartridge authenticates a download rather than holding the full game. If you have slow internet or limited storage, factor the download into your plans. Note that Switch 2 is excluded from Digital Deluxe 72-hour early access, so there is no early-start advantage to buying Deluxe on this platform.
Will the price drop after launch?
Koei Tecmo titles historically hold their launch price for the first few months, with the first meaningful discounts appearing during seasonal storefront sales. If you are price-sensitive rather than time-sensitive, waiting for the first sale is a reasonable strategy — but you will miss the December 23 early-purchase hoodie bonus and any launch-window community activity. Our price tracking page records every official price change across storefronts.
Buying Attack on Titan 3 as a gift
Digital gifting is supported on Steam (direct gift) and via store credit/gift cards on PS5, Xbox and Switch 2 — the console storefronts do not gift specific game SKUs directly in all regions. For a physical gift, the Standard boxed edition is the safest choice; the SteelBook Launch Edition is the collector-friendly option but is limited and may be sold out near launch. More ideas are on our gift guide.
Avoiding unofficial key sellers
Search ads for discounted "AOT3 keys" are already appearing on gray-market key sites. These keys can be revoked after purchase, may be region-locked, and do not qualify for preorder bonuses. We only link official storefronts and verified retailers on this page for that reason — if a price looks dramatically below the official $69.99, treat it as a risk rather than a bargain.
Tracked affiliate purchase links appear here once store pages are verified and affiliate programs are active. Until then, use the official storefronts above.
FAQ
Where can I buy Attack on Titan 3?
PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo Store and Steam — plus physical retailers for boxed copies. Preorders are live on all platforms.
How much does Attack on Titan 3 cost?
Estimated $69.99 for Standard and $89.99 for Digital Deluxe (US). Prices vary by region.
Is it better to buy Standard or Digital Deluxe?
Digital Deluxe adds 72-hour early access plus cosmetic/content packs. Choose Deluxe if early access matters, Standard if you only want the game.
Can I get Attack on Titan 3 cheaper?
Compare regional pricing and watch retailer launch deals. There is no official discount confirmed yet.
When should I buy to get the preorder bonus?
Digital preorders include the Wings of Freedom Earrings. The Hoodie early-purchase bonus requires purchase by December 23, 2026.
Is Attack on Titan 3 on Game Pass?
Not announced. Treat it as a full-price purchase until Koei Tecmo or Microsoft says otherwise.
Is the Switch 2 physical version a real cartridge?
It is a Game-Key Card — it authenticates a download rather than containing the full game.
Are gray-market key sites safe for AOT3?
We advise against them: keys can be revoked or region-locked and do not include preorder bonuses. Official storefronts are the safe route.
